If you have managed to read this far, here is a bit of trivia for
you. In March, 1933, RKO Pictures released the now famous movie, "King
Kong." In that movie the role of Captain Engelhorn was played
by Frank Reicher.
And, speaking of ships, this is the four-masted barque Engelhorn built by
the Whitehaven Shipbuilding Co.; launched in 1889 and lost at sea rounding Cape Horn in
August, 1914.
